Job description
Experienced Field Service ManagerWe are seeking an Experienced Field Service Manager to oversee a large team of Heavy Equipment Field Mechanics in Raleigh, NC. The Field Service Manager will supervise a team of 50 employees including field service supervisors and Field Technicians tasked with repairing construction and equipment. Will interact with all employees and other department managers, customers, and vendors. Managers with dealership experience will be considered an asset. Responsibilities include overseeing field and shop repairs, reviewing financial statements, processing invoices, preparing bids, negotiating and settling disputes, controlling and evaluating department P & L, interacting with other department employees, handling employee issues, monitoring technician training, and completing performance reviews. The successful candidate will be subjected to a pre-employment screening which includes criminal record checks, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.Qualifications: Strong organizational and customer service skills, exceptional time management skills, minimum of 5 years' experience previously working in a management capacity in the heavy-duty diesel repair industry, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills.Compensation: $100k - $120k/year, salary range depends on experience and qualification.
