Field Service ManagerFor over 50 years, our talented employees at Zetec have been advancing nondestructive testing (NDT) standards. Zetec is a global leader in NDT and located right here in beautiful Snoqualmie, WA.We are hiring a Field Service Manager for our Global Inspection Services Group. You will lead technical operations and team performance, leveraging your expertise in Eddy Current testing (ET). In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations, lead field teams, foster client relationships, handle project staffing, and drive business growth through strategic commercial proposals.Dynamic and technically grounded Field Service Leader with a proven track record of managing high-priority projects and building high-performing, collaborative teams. Adept at bridging the gap between field operations and internal development, serving as a key operational liaison to Engineering and Product Managers at Zetec. Demonstrated expertise in delivering robust internal and external technical support, leading critical on-site deployments, and translating real-world customer insights into actionable product enhancements.Essential Job Functions:Manage day-to-day operations of Field Service.Manage all internal and external inquiries for services.Manage all scheduling, logistics, and execution of field projects.Provide training and leadership as you grow both the size and talent in your group.Maintain key account ownership with strategic customers, working closely with Sales Executives.Perform various Field Service activities; inspections of tubing in Nuclear Steam Generators and condensers. Activities may include data acquisition, data analysis, technical support, repairs of Zetec equipment, and direct interface with customers.Make suggestions to Engineering Department to improve the fabrication or function of the equipment and/or checkout of the equipment.Partner with other managers in the group in support of the Training department and RevospECT analysis team.Consistent and predictable attendanceOther duties as required in support of the department and the company.Supervisor Responsibilities:This job has direct supervisory responsibilities for the Field Service Team.Qualifications:10 years of experience in the Steam Generator or Heat Exchanger tubing inspection market utilizing Eddy Current inspection methods.Advanced understanding of eddy current test methods as applied in steam generator tubing inspections (probes, testers, robotics).Strong project management capabilities to include scheduling, risk identification/mitigation, communication, teambuilding and cost estimation/tracking.The individual holding this position must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified material, which include US citizenship and being subject to a federal background investigation.Ability to gain entrance into Canada and other foreign countries.Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project & Outlook.Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable expressing ideas/opinions to groups of individuals at various levels within Zetec and/or customer organizations.Able to perform frequently complex analysis of problems and/or data and present recommended solutions.Education and/or Experience:10 years industry experience working as an ET Level II or higherIn-depth understanding of Zetec's product lineExperience as a level III is preferredExperience as a Resolution Analyst is a plusExperience as an IQDA is a plusDegree in an engineering discipline; equivalent combination of experience and/or education or 2-year NDE or electronics degreeExperience in or working with the US military is a plusCurrent or recent (within last 2 years) DOD clearance is a plusPrevious unescorted access at a nuclear utility in the last 365 days is a plusCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:Eddy Current Certification Level IIDOD clearanceLanguage Skills:Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Regular sitting, standing and walking throughout the day to accomplish tasksHearing and speakingLifting and carrying up to 50 poundsWork in power plants that permit exposure to permissible levels of radiationWork various shifts; day, swing or grave for up to seven days per week when requiredOn-call status as required to support Zetec customer needsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
