Field Service Project ManagerClean Harbors in Cloquet, MN is looking for a Field Service Project Manager to join our HAZMAT Emergency Response team. The FSPM is responsible for managing large scale projects at a variety of customer locations. You will work directly with other team members, Supervisors, as well as the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with emergency response (emergency spill cleanup), hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation (tank and pit cleaning), equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.This position requires about 50% travel around the United States for Emergency Response projects. All travel expenses are paid for by the company and per diem is offered while traveling. Hours and schedule are not guaranteed, and will vary with emergency response needs. We offer a competitive starting hourly wage with opportunity to earn several pay increases over your first 12 months. Your first two weeks will be attending the paid training Academy, typically held out of state.Why work for Clean Harbors?Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employmentCompensation $72,000 - $82,000 plus annual incentive programGroup 401K with company matching componentGenerous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursementPositive and safe work environmentsOpportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your careerResponsibilitiesEnsures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.Manages and oversees small to large, technically complex projects involving waste site clean-up and construction, building and equipment decontamination and demolition.Prepare proposals, including cost estimates and work scopes and schedules.Acts as an agent of business and is involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding the customer issues.Ability to provide timely, concise and relevant information to superiors and subordinates.Provides technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement.Enforce the policies and procedures as it relates to Health & Safety. Will be measured off the districts health and safety record. Works closely with the Director of Health and Safety and VP of Site Services in resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner.Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required, associates or bachelor's degree preferred.3+ years of environmental field service operations experience or related.Strong environmental remediation background and experience.Emergency response supervisor training and/or Marine Spill Response training preferred.Strong understanding of equipment operations.Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulation.Cost estimating and computer experience.In depth knowledge of remedial technologies.Previous experience working Emergency Response.Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.Clean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
