Commercial Laundry Field Service & Sales RepresentativeLocation: Home-based field position located in or near Greater ChicagoCompensation: $60,000-$80,000 per year, plus performance-based bonus opportunitiesA Hands-On Service Career with an Established Customer BaseGurtler Industries is seeking a Commercial Laundry Field Service & Sales Representative to support established commercial laundry customers throughout the Greater Midwest, including Illinois and Indiana territory involving regional travel.This is primarily a customer service and technical field-support position. Approximately 80% of the role involves servicing existing customer accounts, maintaining automated chemical dispensing systems, troubleshooting equipment, training customer employees, and helping customers improve laundry performance.The remaining portion of the role involves identifying opportunities to provide additional products, services, and solutions to existing customers.This is not a traditional office or remote sales position. The successful candidate will work from a home-based location and travel regularly to customer facilities throughout the assigned territory.Because our representatives work independently and our managers also maintain sales responsibilities, candidates with previous commercial laundry or closely related field-service experience will receive strongest consideration.Territory and TravelHome-based field position located in or near IL or INTerritory includes Greater Midwest including IL and INApproximately 50% regional travelOccasional overnight travelMonthly vehicle allowanceMileage, lodging, meals, and approved business expenses reimbursedWhat You Will DoService and maintain automated chemical dispensing systemsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issuesVisit established customer accounts on a regular basisTrain customer employees on equipment use and laundry proceduresRespond to service concerns and resolve customer issuesBuild long-term relationships with customer teamsManage your territory, schedule, and service priorities independentlyRecommend additional products or services when they would benefit the customerWork with customers to improve efficiency, quality, and overall laundry performanceQualificationsPrevious Commercial Field Service Laundry experience is strongly preferredStrong mechanical and troubleshooting abilityExperience working directly with commercial or industrial customersAbility to work independently and manage a regional territoryStrong communication, organization, and customer-service skillsValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordAbility to travel regularly throughout the territoryPreferred ExperienceCommercial or industrial laundry operationsLaundry chemical serviceAutomated chemical dispensing systemsCommercial laundry equipment serviceWarewashing chemical serviceMilitary veterans with technical, mechanical, or field-service experience are also encouraged to apply.About Gurtler IndustriesGurtler Industries is a family-owned leader in advanced chemical products and dispensing systems for the commercial laundry industry.
