Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Mechanical Field Service Engineer to support a major power generation commissioning project in Milford, UT . This is an excellent opportunity to work hands-on with a leading OEM, supporting the installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical mechanical equipment at a power generation facility.
What You'll Do
Support mechanical installation, startup, and commissioning activities for power generation equipment.
Perform inspections, troubleshooting, testing, and field repairs on mechanical systems.
Work closely with commissioning teams, contractors, and plant personnel to resolve technical issues.
Review technical documentation, drawings, and procedures to ensure successful equipment installation and operation.
Provide field engineering support throughout commissioning, startup, and project closeout.
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with site procedures and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of mechanical field service, commissioning, startup, or power generation experience.
Experience working on gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, rotating equipment, or other heavy industrial mechanical systems.
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills.
Experience supporting outage, commissioning, or startup projects in power plants, industrial facilities, or EPC environments.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a fast-paced field environment. xqrzhdi
