Job description
DIRECT HIRE Do you have experience with machine start-up installation projects? Our customer is passionate about advancing and optimizing production processes through a combination of people, technology and sustainability. This position is responsible for the installation and technical support of customer equipment, both onsite and remotely via phone or electronic communication.
Key responsibilities include performing or overseeing the mechanical installation of equipment at customer locations, conducting initial start-up procedures, and providing training to customer personnel. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment issues, delivering technical guidance, and supporting software-related inquiries.
Travel to customer sites throughout North America is required, with travel commitments ranging from 60–80% for installation projects. The company understands the importance of work-life balance and has a strong track record—barring rare exceptions—of ensuring field service team members are home each weekend.
however, preference will be given to those with 1–3 years of related experience in field service, electronics manufacturing, or electro-mechanical maintenance. The company is willing to train the right candidate on industry-specific equipment and processes.
Applicants must be computer proficient and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
