Job Responsibilities And DutiesResponsibilities and Duties:Responsible for Tig welding in Fab Shop.Assists with the layout of work projects.Follows all OSHA and TP Mechanical Contractors standards for safety.Keeps equipment in good working order and insures proper and timely maintenance is performed on equipment.Keeps work area clear of unnecessary clutter and performs routine clean-up as needed.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Experience:Experience/Qualifications Required:Minimum 5 years Tig welding experience.Job Skills:Ability to read blueprintsAbility to use weld pipe positionerKnowledge of general plumbing and piping installation is a plus.Working knowledge of all hand and power tools.Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity.Basic math skills.Ability to pass a pipe test (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW).Education:High School or GED equivalentTrade School a plusPhysical Requirements:Eyesight correctable to 20/50Able to perform shift work if neededMust be able to lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs.Special Requirements:Valid Drivers LicenseOSHA 10Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
