Field Welder / Fabricator / InstallerPay: $20-22/hr. (depending on weld test rate could be higher)Shift: Day Shift (Mon-Fr)Description:Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a Field Welder/Fabricator/Installer for placement with one of our clients. This position is responsible for the on-site fabrication, welding, and installation of sheet metal products including ductwork, specialty components, and custom assemblies across a variety of commercial and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship and is comfortable working in dynamic field environments, including on ladders and at elevation.Requirements:Professional or school experience with welding/fabricating or field installationProficiency in at least two welding processes (MIG, TIG, Flux Core, or Stick); AWS certification a plusExperience working with galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum, and/or carbon steelAbility to safely work from ladders for extended periods — comfort with heights is requiredAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a crew with minimal supervisionReliable transportation to and from job sites (this position does not require operating a company vehicle)Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditionsBenefits:Health Insurance401(k) / Retirement OptionsWeekly Pay
