nThe radiology film librarian maintains the imaging records for Albany Medical Center within our PACS system iSite.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities
nnnCreate and send/receive CD for imaging transfers.
n
nnMonitor Life Image cloud application to upload images from outside facilities.
n
nnWork with radiologists to obtain prior imaging and reports to ensure accurate care for current visit.
n
nnResolve image exceptions.
n
nnEstablish or request imaging connections with various facilities.
n
nnProvide imaging reports to patients and facilities.
n
nnCommunicate and coordinate images with hospital staff to expedite patient care.
n
nnHelp patients to retrieve reports and send to needed referring physician(s).
n
nnAnswer phone calls and communicate with patients, co-workers and referring facilities.
n
nnWork with facilities to share imaging whether by mail, PACS or cloud-based applications.
n
n nQualifications
nnnHigh School Diploma/G.E.D. - required
n
nnAssociate's Degree - preferred
n
nn1-3 years Basic customer service or related duties - required
n
nnBasic math skills required.
n
nnBasic computer skills with MS Office applications.
n
nnCommunicate well with others.
n
nnRespond and communicate via email effectively.
