Job description

Job Description Job Description The Final Assembly is primarily responsible for sub-assembling smaller parts. This includes reviewing the work order to ensure material availability.

1st Shift Hours : 7:00am - 3:30pm

2nd Shift Hours: 5:30pm - 2:00am

Essential Job Responsibilities not limited to:

Review picking sheet

Confirms if pick from stock or make from a job

Locate job and compare with picking sheet

Review drawings for part assembly (if available)

Gather materials to assemble parts

Assemble parts

Review picking sheet for special instructions

Inspect parts for final assembly

Sign off on production and picking sheet

Competencies

Ability to work in an environment that produces excellent quality and quantity work

Ability to organize and prioritize jobs

Ability to communicate - clearly and comprehensively

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Able to stand for long periods of time

Able to lift, push, and pull 25 pounds unassisted

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED

Shop experience in assembly and reading shop prints

Familiar with power tools and hand tools, loc-tite glue, and paper cutter

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings

Basic math knowledge which includes the use of measuring tools

Work Environment

Typical machine shop environment.

Willing and able to work additional hours as needed
