Final AssemblyAbout ProFab: Member of the JE Grote Company family, ProFab is a sanitary conveyor manufacturer, millwright, and process piping supplier and installer serving the poultry industry and the greater food processing industry. Mission Statement: To Feed Our Growing World – TogetherJob Summary: The Final Assembly job involves assembling conveyors and other food processing equipment in a timely fashion to deliver a quality product to our customer, the food processor.Responsibilities:Mechanically inclined, able to understand conveyor function and desired results.Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to assemble products accurately and efficiently.Assemble and test final products according to specifications and quality standards.Conduct quality control checks on assembled products to ensure they meet customer requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process.Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production and delivery of products.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and quality.Requirements:2+ years of experience in final assemblyStrong understanding of manufacturing processesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints and manuals.Driver's License and a reliable work vehicle.Authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with stainless steel and UHMW conveyor components.Knowledge of quality control and testing procedures.Understanding of wiring 480 volt three phase motors.Work Environment:The Final Assembly job is typically performed in a manufacturing environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.The work environment is clean and organized, with a focus on safety and quality control.The job requires standing and walking for long periods, as well as lifting and moving heavy objects.The work schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm, with mandatory overtime as needed.Salary will be commensurate with experience. All candidates to whom an offer of employment is made will need to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
