Position Summary
Due to continued growth in the Hampton Roads market, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Administrative Coordinator at our Norfolk location .
The Finance & Administrative Coordinator keeps day-to-day financial processes accurate, organized, and on schedule. This role manages routine bookkeeping, supports payroll, prepares recurring reports, and gives leadership reliable information for sound business decisions. It also handles a small number of onboarding and employee-record tasks.

What You'll Do
Finance & Bookkeeping Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Receive, record, deposit, and apply customer and insurance payments
Prepare checks and process approved company expenses
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation using company accounting systems
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance-sheet accounts
Track outstanding receivables and resolve account discrepancies
Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement tracking
Assist with month-end close and recurring financial reporting
Assist with financial analysis and special projects
Maintain confidentiality of all financial and employee information
Administrative Support Assist with onboarding, employee paperwork, and orientation
Maintain employee records and training documentation
Support benefits administration and annual review processes
Assist management with recruiting and other administrative projects as needed
What You'll Bring
Required Experience At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration required; 5 or more years preferred
Demonstrated experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
Understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office 365
Experience using accounting, payroll, or business-management software
Skills & Traits Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and dependable attendance
Additional Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
