nJob Description

nAs a Finance Analyst, you'll provide critical accounting and financial support to plant and divisional operations by delivering accurate reporting, analyzing financial and operational data, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities. This role partners with cross-functional teams to support business performance, strengthen financial controls, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

nThis is an entry-level professional role that performs recurring accounting and reporting activities, resolves routine issues, and contributes to continuous process improvement while working under general supervision.

nKey Responsibilities

nSafety Leadership

nnnChampion a safety-first culture by incorporating safe work practices into all responsibilities.

n nFinancial Reporting & Analysis

nnnPrepare and maintain financial and operational reports that support plant and business decision-making.

n

nnResearch, analyze, and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

nnAssist with reporting and analysis related to:

nnFixed Assets

n

nnInventory

n

nnSales

n

nnCustomer Rebates

n

nnStandard Costing

n

nnGovernment Reporting Requirements

n

n nMonth-End Close & Accounting Support

nnnSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including:

n

nnJournal entries

n

nnAccount reconciliations

n

nnVariance analysis

n

nnExpense reviews

n

nnTrend analysis

n

nnAssist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and other business performance metrics.

n

n nBudgeting & Business Support

nnnSupport the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

n

nnProvide financial insights and data analysis to assist operational and business leaders in achieving performance objectives.

n

n nControls, Compliance & Audit Support

nnnHelp maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.

n

nnSupport Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements through accurate documentation and adherence to established processes.

n

nnAssist internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.

n

nnEnsure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.

n nWhat We're Looking For

nEducation

nnBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.

n nExperience

nnn1+ years of accounting, finance, financial analysis, or related business experience.

n

nnManufacturing, cost accounting, or plant finance experience is preferred but not required.
