nJob Title: Finance Coordinator

nReports To: Executive Director

nSchedule/Hours: PTime 25-30 hrs/week, Mon-Fri with some weekends. Schedule to be determined

nSalary Range Based on Experience $25-30hour / Non-Exempt

nBenefits: Sick time as required by law. Holiday, Vacation & Retirement Eligibility

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

nThe Finance Coordinator assists with day to day operations of the Foundation Office, with specific duties including:

nManages daily accounting, grant management and financial reporting to ensure compliance with organizational policies

nResponsible for coordinating and filing of licenses, permits and legal documents required for Foundation operations and fundraising activities.

n·Responsible for processing all donations and preparing bank deposits. Includes cash, credit card, online

ne-wallet and digital transactions.

nAssist with budget preparation, monitoring and financial forecasting.

nResponsible for QuickBooks entries, including investment updates and monthly bank reconciliation.

nWorking with Executive Director, coordinate timely review and renewal of vendor contracts related to Foundation operations.

nAssist with the financial activities and timely filing of financial reports/forms required for the Foundation, including but not limited to monthly financial reports, taxes, audit, and insurance reports.

nMonitor grant expenditures, grant payments and prepare financial reports as needed.

nAs needed, assist with database management, ensuring donor records are maintained confidentially and updated as needed

nAssist with monitoring Book Loft activities and working with Foundation volunteers.

nAssist with fundraising activities and donor related events as needed

n**EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS **

n2-5 years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience with QuickBooks online required.

nBachelor's Degree with minimum 2 years of job related work experience desired but not required

nWorking experience within a non-profit or community organization

nStrong skills in MS Office with knowledge of Raisers Edge or other donor management system

nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with variety of volunteers, donors and general public, representing the Foundation in a professional manner
