nPosition Summary
nThe Finance Intern will support the Finance Department by assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, data analysis, and administrative projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare finance while offering exposure to hospital operations, accounting processes, and financial decision-making.
nKey Responsibilities
nnnAssist with preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and budget analyses.
n
nnSupport month-end and year-end financial activities.
n
nnReview and organize financial data for accuracy and compliance.
n
nnConduct research and analyze trends to support departmental initiatives.
n
nnAssist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance-related projects.
n
nnCollaborate with Finance team members on special projects and process improvements.
n
nnMaintain confidentiality of financial and patient-related information.
n
n nQualifications
nnnCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
n
nnStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
n
nnProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
n
nnExcellent attention to detail and communication skills.
n
nnAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
n
n nPreferred Qualifications
nnnPrevious internship, coursework, or experience in finance, accounting, or healthcare administration.
n
nnInterest in healthcare finance and hospital operations.
n
