nThis opportunity is intended for conversion to a full-time role that will not offer work authorization sponsorship in the future (full-time conversion pending performance evaluation post internship and available headcount). Interested candidates must be currently eligible to work in the US AND must not require work authorization sponsorship in the future. nWork Description:
nnnThe Finance Data Science Intern will support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives by leveraging data science, AI, and automation techniques to enhance reporting, analytics, and decision-making capabilities.
n
nnThe intern will analyze financial and operational data, develop data-driven insights, build automated solutions and dashboards, and explore AI-enabled opportunities to improve efficiency and business intelligence across the Finance organization.
n
nnThey will work closely with finance and GBU teams to solve real-world business challenges through a combination of financial analysis, programming, and data science methodologies.
n
n nAI & Advanced Analytics
nnnExplore AI and machine learning techniques to improve financial analysis and operational processes.
n
nnEvaluate opportunities to leverage generative AI for reporting, automation, and knowledge management.
n
nnConduct exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling.
n
n nAutomation & Process Improvement
nnnIdentify manual processes that can be streamlined through automation.
n
nnDevelop Python-based scripts and automated workflows.
n
nnImprove reporting efficiency and data accessibility.
n
nnDocument and recommend process improvements.
n
n nDashboard & Visualization Development
nnnCreate and enhance Power BI dashboards and executive reporting tools.
n
nnDevelop KPI scorecards and business performance visualizations.
n
nnPresent analytical findings through clear, data-driven storytelling.
n
n nCross-Functional Collaboration
nnnPartner with Finance, IT, and Data Scientists to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
n
nnParticipate in project reviews, team meetings, and stakeholder presentations.
n
nnCommunicate project progress and key findings to leadership.
n
n nEducation and Experience Required:
nnn3rd Year of bachelor's degree completed in Finance or computer science.
n
nnMust be enrolled full time at an accredited university.
n
nnHas no more than 24 months of prior work experience professionally related to the intern requisition they are applying to (not including internships, teaching assistance, research work, or military experience)
n
nnAble to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027, and not require sponsorship in the future

nBy the end of the internship, the intern is expected to:
nnnDeliver an analytics, automation, or AI-focused project with measurable business value.

nnDevelop at least one automated solution that improves a finance process.

nnCreate dashboards or visualizations that support data-driven decision making.
n
nnPresent findings and recommendations to Finance leadership.
n
