nThis position reports to:
nSenior Business Controller
nAs an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing your personal education/employment opportunities.
nThe work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in Albuquerque, NM.
nYou will be mainly accountable for:
nnCollaborating with various teams to support ABB's operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.
nLeveraging insights about customer needs and ABB's offerings to identify suitable solutions for clients, leading to project results that meet customer expectations.
nParticipating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
nSeeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
nAssist in preparing financial statements and reports
nSupport month-end or quarter-end closing processes
nHelp analyze financial data and create variance reports
nResearch financial trends and industry benchmarks
n nQualifications for the role :
nnCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Finance, Accounting or related fields, in the United States.
nIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
nUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
nEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
nExhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
nCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

nThe hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications, graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
