nAbout this role:
nThe Finance Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) drives the planning, forecasting and performance-analysis cycle for a Carrier manufacturing facility. Working with general supervision on assignments that require judgment and interpretation, this role turns operational and financial data into insight that supports decision-making, cost control and profitable growth.
nKey Responsibilities:
nnnLeads the monthly forecast, annual operating plan (AOP) and long-range planning cycles for the site.
n
nnPerforms month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries and account reconciliations.
n
nnAnalyzes actual results versus plan/forecast, explaining variances in cost, spend, absorption and productivity.
n
nnBuilds and maintains financial models, dashboards and reporting packages for site leadership.
n
nnPartners with Operations, Materials and Engineering to track productivity, savings and cost-reduction initiatives.
n
nnSupports capital investment (CAPEX) requests with business cases, ROI and payback analysis.
n
nnTracks and reports key financial KPIs (conversion cost, labor efficiency, scrap, inventory, headcount).
n
nnEnsures compliance with US GAAP, internal controls and SOX requirements in all analyses and reporting.
n
n nRequired Qualifications:
nnnBachelor's degree
n
nn3+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis, or accounting experience
n
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnnBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
n
nnProven experience owning forecasting, budgeting and month-end close activities.
n
nnStrong variance analysis skills with the ability to explain financial results to non-finance partners.
n
nnAdvanced Excel and financial-modeling capability.
n
nnWorking knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and SOX compliance.
n
nnExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
n
nnManufacturing or plant-finance experience, including standard costing and absorption analysis.
n
nnProficiency with ERP (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI, Hyperion/OneStream).
n
nnCPA, CMA or MBA.
n
n nPay Range
nThe annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.
nOther Compensation
nThis position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
