nAs a Financial Supervisor, you will lead a team of finance professionals. You and your team will support multiple projects in accounting and finance related functions. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to both operations managers and executive management. The Finance Supervisor position requires strong leadership skills, relentless ambition for continuous improvement, and polished technical and soft skills.

nKiewit’s Industrial and Water Engineering Group has the ability and the responsibility to greatly influence the successful outcome of our projects. Our team is multi-faceted, with best-in-class technical expertise focused on EPC and design-build delivery of industrial projects in markets such as Food & Beverage, Mineral Processing, Renewable Fuels, Pulp and Paper, Steel & Aluminum, Industrial Buildings, and Industrial Energy, Water and Utilities.
nLocation
nThis position is based out of our Itasca, IL office. Work schedule is onsite M - F.
nResponsibilities
nnnAnalyze and effectively communicate financial results of projects to upper-level management.
n
nnEarn trust, credibility, and buy-in of processes from Operations team to create better cohesion and clear communication within the organization.
n
nnTrain, develop, and grow a team of finance professionals.
n
nnDevelop and maintain budget and cost reports, earned value analyses, and project profit projections.
n
nnAssist in the tracking of project change orders and development of projections.
n
nnAssist project managers with development of project procedures.
n
nnDrive continuous improvement throughout the organization and is a proponent for positive change.
n
nnEffectively use the right data, reports, and tools for risk analysis and benchmarking.
n
nnReview all project and estimate cash flows, contract terms, and change orders in detail for financial risks and opportunities.
n
nnUnderstand the needs of the organization and bring in high quality talent.
n
n nQualifications
nnn3-5 years of financial/data analysis or public accounting experience
n
nnBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree
n
nnProven track record of successfully developing or managing a team
n
nnAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel
n
nnEffective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
n
nnAbility to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities
n
nnHigh level of professionalism and standards
n
nnMust be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
n
nnTravel may be required for this position (up to 25%)

nBase Compensation: $100,000/yr - $125,000/yr
n(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
