## Finance Systems Engineer**Department:** Systems **Location:** Somerville, MA---Join Formlabs if you want to bring ground-breaking professional 3D printers to the desktop of every designer, engineer, researcher, and artist in the world.The Finance Systems team owns the enterprise systems used to record, process, and report financial data across Formlabs. We're looking for a Finance Systems Engineer who is equally comfortable writing code to automate and interconnect our finance stack and administering those systems day-to-day — owning the configuration, access, and operational health that keep NetSuite and Coupa running as a compliant, efficient source of truth.This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to both build (scripting, integrations, automation) and operate (privileged administration, BaU configuration, security). If you're as happy shipping a SuiteScript integration as you are provisioning a role, tuning an approval workflow, or debugging a failed PO sync, this is the role for you.**Build & Integrate*** Design, develop, and ship customizations and integrations across **NetSuite, Coupa, and related financial systems (such as Adaptive, Avalara, or future custom-built tools)*** Build and maintain integrations between finance systems and the wider landscape- Shopify, Salesforce, the data warehouse, and middleware/iPaaS — using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.* Automate reconciliations, data syncs, and reporting pipelines so that procurement, invoicing, sales, GL, and revenue data flow accurately across platforms in near real time.* Write SQL and saved searches to power reporting that pulls from multiple sources and aligns with finance and business needs.* Apply modern engineering practices- version control, code review, testing, and clear documentation- to deliver maintainable, well-documented solutions.**Administer & Operate*** Serve as a **privileged administrator** for NetSuite and Coupa, owning day-to-day system health, configuration, and change management.* Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning, roles, permissions, and periodic access/security reviews to enforce least-privilege and support audit and audit and internal controls.* Configure and maintain custom fields, records, forms, workflows, approval routing, and notifications as business processes evolve.* Own saved searches, reports, dashboards, and KPIs; keep the reporting layer accurate and self-serve for finance stakeholders.* Procurement approval chains and limits, content and account groups, supplier onboarding/SIM, and PO/invoice/expense configuration.* Manage sandbox refreshes, release-preview and version testing, feature enablement, and bundle/SuiteApp management.* Support period closes by maintaining subsidiary, tax, and entity configuration, and by monitoring integration error queues, audit logs, and data integrity across systems.* Own license and subscription management, and act as the first line of triage for system issues, partnering with vendors and internal teams to resolve them.**You:*** A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.* 5+ years in finance systems engineering, ERP administration, or systems integration.* Hands-on, demonstrable experience with **NetSuite** (both SuiteScript development *and* administration) and **Coupa**.* Proven ability to manage system integrations using APIs and/or middleware tools.* Ability to write SQL from scratch and comfort with reporting and data-warehouse concepts.* Strong understanding of finance, procurement, and accounting workflows.* A pragmatic problem-solver with excellent communication skills, willing to wear many hats and jump in wherever needed to deliver outcomes.**Bonus Points:*** NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or SuiteScript Developer) and/or Coupa administration experience.* Experience with additional finance/business systems (Salesforce, Shopify, Avalara/AvaTax, or similar) and iPaaS middleware.* Ability to effectively leverage AI coding and tooling.* Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company that manufactures and sells physical products.**Our Perks & Benefits:*** Robust equity program to build future wealth through RSUs* Comprehensive healthcare coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)* Low cost fund options in our 401K and access to advisors* Generous paid Parental Leave (up to 16 weeks)* Tenure-based paid Sabbatical Leave (up to 6 weeks)* Flexible Out of Office Plan – Take time when you need it* Ample free on-site parking & pre-tax commuter benefits* Healthy on-site lunches, snacks, beverages, & treats* Regular sponsored professional development opportunities* Many opt-in culture events across our diverse community* And of course... unlimited 3D prints**Compensation** Every Formlabs employee receives equity because everyone contributes to building the company. The base pay will be determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and expected impact on the organization.The annual base pay range for this role is:$105,000—$140,000 USD
