At Palante Wealth Advisors, that’s the opportunity. We’re looking for a Financial Advisor to join our growing team. We’re an independent, fiduciary retirement planning firm in Pennington, NJ, focused on helping families lead a great life in retirement .
Our planning philosophy is different from traditional wealth management: we start with the client’s life, build income confidence first, and integrate investments, taxes, insurance, and estate planning into one coordinated plan.
You will not be expected to build a book of business through cold calling or traditional prospecting. Instead, you’ll take a leadership role in planning and client service , while also participating in sales meetings and helping prospective clients understand how the Palante Way can help them lead a great life into retirement.
The Role
You’ll become a key part of the client relationship - helping turn complex financial information into a clear, understandable plan. You will:
Lead the planning process for prospective and existing clients, with support from the lead advisor and Palante team (Income Lab; Holistiplan, etc)
Prepare and present comprehensive retirement plans centered around income confidence, tax strategy, investments, risk management, and legacy
Help clients understand why a recommendation works, what it protects, and what happens if life changes with meeting presentations and recaps
Translate complex financial concepts into clear, practical conversations without jargon
Prepare for prospect/client meetings and ensure recommendations and follow-up items are thoroughly completed
Build strong, long-term relationships with prospects/clients through consistent service and communication
Collaborate with lead advisor/Founder, team members, and our affiliated legal team
Identify planning opportunities across income, investments, taxes, insurance, and estate planning
Help clients move from “Are we okay?” to “We have a plan.”
What Makes This Role Different
There is NO cold calling. You won't be measured primarily by how many people you can convince to buy something. At Palante, advisors are guides - not product pushers or market predictors. Our job is to help clients gain clarity and feel secure enough to live well. You'll have the opportunity to develop as a true Financial Advisor while learning alongside the lead advisor/Founder. That means you'll be close to the client relationship while having the support, structure, and team environment to continue developing your skills.

You May Be a Great Fit If You...
Have 3+ years of financial services experience , preferably within an RIA or comprehensive planning environment
Enjoy retirement planning and working directly with prospects and clients
Have strong analytical and financial planning skills
Can take complicated information and explain it simply
Are highly organized and have exceptional follow-through
Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
Are comfortable participating in client and prospect meetings
Can balance technical expertise with genuine empathy and curiosity
Want to grow into a meaningful, long-term role within a growing firm
Series 65 and Life & Health Insurance licenses are strongly preferred (or equivalent).
