POSITION SUMMARY:
nMethod Flow Products, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Measurement Technician I for preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and calibration on orifice meters, Coriolis, mag meters, and vortex meters. Method Flow is looking for an individual who has the desire to perform quality work in a safe manner, who is detail-oriented, and who has superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
nnSafety is essential at Method Flow and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate.
nDemonstrated ability to calibrate per Method Flow Standard Operating Procedures.
nAbility to observe, inspect, and maintain gas and liquid meters.
nMust always maintain detailed calibration data and historical records.
nMust have the ability to detect measurement errors and correct the meter as necessary while maintaining detailed supporting documentation.
nProficient in grind-outs for BSW meters.
nEffective troubleshooting ability. Skilled at replacing orifice meters, Coriolis, mag meters, and vortex meters.
nSkilled maintenance and calibration of portable 02 meters and hard mount 02 meters.
nProficient in the process of LOTO.
nResponsible for the accuracy of service tickets and timely submission.
nSafely drive to customer locations and perform the required work in a safe manner.
nDevelop and maintain relationships with employees as well as customers at all locations.
nPromote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
nConduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
nPerform other duties as assigned.
n nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
nn$29.25-$33.26 per hour

n nWORK ENVIRONMENT:
nWork is performed in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis is required. Exposure to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocols.
nKNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
nnA high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
nMust have a valid driver’s license as well as a good vehicle record is required.
nTwo to four years of experience in Oil and Gas is required.
nAbility to use Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
nMust have the ability to meet deadlines while working safely to ensure a quality product.
nExperience with hand-held tools and assembling parts.
nExperience with multimeters.
nAbility to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
nMechanical experience is preferred but not required.
nExceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.
nAbility to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
