nWhen you join our cosmetology school as our Financial Aid Leader, you are the guide and problem-solver behind every student's financial journey. Each day, you interpret and apply federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations while creating a seamless, student-focused experience. You prepare and manage all grant and loan documentation, counsel Future Professionals and their families on eligibility and options, and ensure compliance through regular file inspections. As you support admissions and daily operations, you also lead with integrity-handling sensitive financial information with care while staying organized, meeting deadlines, and keeping your team focused and aligned in a fast-paced environment.
nnBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
n nnMinimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role required
n nnStrong computer and data entry skills
n nnAbility to multitask and coach others
n nnExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
n nnSolid work history with verifiable references
n nnPassion for the beauty industry
n nnHonesty and professionalism
n nKnowledge of Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems is preferred.
