nWe are seeking an experienced Financial Aid Officer for immediate, temporary hire to support high-volume operational needs within the Financial Aid Department. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely processing, compliance, and student support related to federal and institutional financial aid programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven.
nKey Responsibilities
nn Provide guidance to students and families regarding available financial aid programs.
n Assist students with financial aid applications and required documentation.
n Perform verification processes and resolve conflicting information.
n Enter and update financial aid data in the institutional system (DiamonSIS).
n Process awards, Pell projections, and loan originations.
n Monitor loan entrance and exit counseling and required documentation.
n Respond to student inquiries via phone and in person.
n nMinimum Qualifications
nn College degree in accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
n Prior experience in Financial Aid or higher education administration preferred.
n Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills.
n Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
n Proficiency with information systems and data entry.
n nThis is a temporary, urgent hire.
