Blank Ast 3 CxUnder the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Financial Services, independently responsible for the processing, payment, and reconciliation of all accounts payable, accounts receivable, FlexCard, and deposit transactions for DFSS departments (Facilities Management, Design & Construction Services, Environmental Health & Safety, Associate Vice Chancellor, and Business & Financial Planning).Required Qualifications:Strong oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills for interacting with accountants and vendorsProven ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task in a high-volume environmentSolid knowledge of University financial policies and procedures, including but not limited to travel, entertainment, misc. reimbursement, and purchasingMust have good attention to detailKnowledge of basic accounting principlesProficient in MS Office programs (High proficiency)Preferred Qualifications:Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree1-3 years Experience in accounts payable, reconciliation and accounting processesJob Functions and Percentages of Time:60% Accounts Payable20% Accounts Receivable10% FlexCard5% Deposits5% Month-End Close and AuditsEqual Employment Opportunity: The University of California is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
