Financial Center ManagerAmeriCU Credit Union is seeking a driven and people-focused Financial Center Manager to lead branch operations, sales performance, and team development.This role is responsible for overseeing daily financial center operations, coaching staff, and driving member relationships while achieving deposit, loan, and service goals. The Financial Center Manager plays a critical role in delivering exceptional member experiences and building a strong, high-performing team culture.Key Responsibilities: Financial Center ManagerLeadership, Sales & CoachingLead, coach, and develop Financial Center staff to achieve sales, service, and operational goalsFoster a high-energy, member-focused service and sales cultureMonitor performance and hold team members accountable to goals and KPIsConduct regular team meetings, huddles, and performance conversationsRecognize and reward performance while driving continuous improvementTrain staff to identify opportunities to deepen member relationships and recommend solutionsBusiness Development & Member ExperienceBuild, retain, and expand member relationships through consultative serviceParticipate in community and business development initiativesDevelop relationships with internal partners and external referral sourcesPromote and implement programs that support member growth and engagementHandle escalated member concerns with professionalism and resolution focusOperations & Financial ManagementOversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and complianceEnsure the Financial Center remains audit-ready, including cash controls and reporting requirementsSupport lending, account servicing, and transaction activities as neededManage Financial Center profitability, including loan and deposit production goalsPrepare and manage the branch operating budget and explain variancesEnsure proper staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiencyTeam Management & CultureCreate an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and engagedParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee developmentConduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and development planningPartner with HR on employee relations and performance management mattersServe as a role model of AmeriCU's MVP-1 culture and valuesCompliance & RiskEnsure adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance requirements, including BSA and SAFE ActMaintain accurate documentation and reporting practicesObtain Notary Public designation and Medallion Signature Guarantee certification within 12 monthsQualifications: Financial Center ManagerAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 3 years of experience in banking, sales, lending, or financial services operationsPrevious leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong knowledge of: Retail banking operationsMember service and sales practicesLending products and processesProven ability to: Lead teams and drive performanceBuild relationships and grow businessManage operations and compliance requirementsStrong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including SaturdaysBilingual skills preferredWhy Join AmeriCU Credit Union?Lead a branch and make a direct impact on member successOpportunity to grow within a collaborative, community-focused organizationStrong emphasis on employee development and internal mobilityWork in an environment that values connection, accountability, and serviceAbout AmeriCU Credit UnionAmeriCU is a not-for-profit credit union based in Rome, NY with over $3 billion in assets and serving more than 200,000 members across Central New York and beyond.
