Description

We are seeking an analytical professional to join our dynamic team as a Financial Planner . This individual will be responsible for analyzing complex financial data, creating financial plans, and presenting those plans to clients.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong financial planning professional with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. They are proactive and collaborative, able to work effectively with team members and build strong relationships. They maintain a primary focus on delivering high-quality financial plans while continuing to expand their knowledge and contribute to team success.

This role works closely with advisors and clients throughout the financial planning process, including gathering client information, developing comprehensive plans, and participating in the presentation of recommendations. The role has meaningful client interaction, but the Financial Planner does not own client relationships or a book of business.

Requirements

You'll Get a Chance To

Develop customized, comprehensive financial plans designed to help clients achieve their goals.

Work directly with clients to gather information and present financial plans.

Build rapport with clients and potential clients with the goal of building a lasting relationship.

Collaborate with advisors to provide holistic financial solutions for clients, including the facilitation of referrals to trusted insurance professionals, CPAs and estate planning attorneys.

Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing processes, and delivering high-quality, client-focused outcomes.

Advance the utilization of the financial planning software(s) and other technologies.

Career progression within this role focuses on continued growth as a Financial Planner, including deepening technical expertise, expanding planning capabilities, and taking on greater complexity and responsibility, rather than progression into an Advisor role.

What You Bring to the Team Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Experience with a financial planning software

CFP® or PFS designation or in the process of obtaining

Strong understanding of cash flow scenarios, education funding strategies, equity compensation (ISOs, NQSOs, RSUs) and investment model portfolios

Knowledge of insurance products (life, disability, long-term care), taxes and estate planning needs including trusts, wills, and powers of attorney

Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

At Aldrich, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on facts and circumstances of each candidate. The compensation offered may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons. Aldrich makes internal equity a consideration in all pay decisions. A reasonable estimate of the current range for the full-time position is $80,000-$105,000 annual salary.

What You Should Know

This is a full-time position. Our standard office hours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. This is a hybrid position where you must be in the office at least 3 days per week.
