nA small financial services company in St. Louis, MO is seeking a motivated and adaptable Financial Planner to join their team! This is an amazing opportunity for someone who enjoys getting to know their clients in person and wants to grow their career in a small firm environment under the guidance of a strong and well-respected mentor. They are looking for someone with experience in financial planning who has worked at a wealth management firm who has or is working towards CFP, CPA or CFA certification who is motivated to build up to taking on a significant number of clients. nPay Range: $60,000 - $90,000 DOE
nResponsibilities:
nnConduct client review meetings with thorough preparation and effective execution.
nFacilitate the onboarding of new clients by creating financial plans, establishing relationships, and integrating them into the system
nTake detailed notes during meetings to ensure all key information and decisions are recorded
nSend summary emails after meetings to review discussions and outline next steps
nManage necessary paperwork for client accounts, including application forms and transfer documents
nTrack and oversee incoming transfers to ensure accurate allocation and reflection in client accounts
nPerform quarterly reviews to assess portfolio performance, make adjustments, and address client inquiries
nAssist in executing trades, balancing portfolios, and managing distribution requests according to client goals
n nRequirements:
nn1-5 years of experience as a Financial Planner or in a similar role within the financial industry
nBachelor's degree in finance or a related field
nCertification or working towards CFP, CPA, or CFA
nProficiency in basic Word and Excel; experience with CRM (Wealthbox), Financial Planning (eMoney), Custodial Platforms (Fidelity), and Performance Reporting (Tamarac) software is preferred
nDemonstrated integrity, motivation, and adaptability in professional settings
nComfortable and effective in communicating with clients, showcasing excellent interpersonal skills
