Job description
About the Company
Most advisor roles have you building clients from scratch. At Sentinel, seminars are filled, and leads are provided — your job is to walk in, build trust, and close. If you have the skills and the discipline to follow a system that works, this is where you build a career.
About the Role
You'll educate prospects (many 59+, with $1M+ in assets) through a two-meeting process: discovery first, then a structured plan and close. From there, you're their advisor for life — annual reviews, ongoing trust, long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
Lead or support seminars that build Sentinel's credibility with prospects
Run first meetings focused on discovery and listening, not pitching
Present structured financial plans and guide clients to a confident decision
Maintain relationships through annual reviews and proactive communication
Document meetings to firm and regulatory compliance standards
Manage 2–3 client meetings per day once fully ramped
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s degree advantageous
Required Skills
Someone who leads with empathy, listens more than they talk, and stays composed under pressure.
Relevant professional experience: 5 years (Required)
Preferred Skills
Backgrounds that translate well: wealth advisory, financial planning, life insurance or annuity sales, IAR/fiduciary work, insurance wholesaling, or pharmaceutical sales.
Series 65 (preferred)
Life & Health Insurance License (preferred)
Advanced credentials strongly preferred (CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, Certified Financial Fiduciary, or equivalent)
Licensing can be obtained, but doing so extends the ramp-up period by approximately 45–60 days.
Pay range and compensation package
Full-time, commission-based W-2 role.
First 6–8 months are immersion in Sentinel's process.
From there, expect your first client within 90 days and additional clients in the following 90 — building toward a full, lasting practice.
Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
Benefits
All leads provided and seminars filled for you
Dedicated Paraplanner for plan prep and admin support
Hands-on, comprehensive training in Sentinel's process
