Job description
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & AnalysisAnalyze clients' financial goals, current financial positions, investment portfolios, and risk profiles.
Develop customized recommendations aligned with client objectives, time horizons, and preferences.
Identify gaps and opportunities within financial plans, including insurance and investment needs.
Prepare comprehensive financial plans consistent with advisor best practices and planning philosophy.
Create investment proposals, asset allocation recommendations, and Investment Policy Statements (IPS).
Prepare Morningstar reports and other portfolio analysis materials.
Advisor & Client SupportPrepare materials for client and prospect meetings, including:
Financial plans
Investment summaries
Consolidated performance reports
In-force insurance illustrations
Client review presentations
Gather research, annual reports, marketing materials, and supporting documentation for advisor meetings.
Assist advisors in responding to client questions and servicing requests.
Consult with advisors on the presentation of planning recommendations and investment strategies.
Provide guidance and support to advisors and staff regarding planning-related service requests.
Insurance & Investment Case PreparationPrepare insurance illustrations and insurance proposals.
Develop investment recommendations and supporting documentation.
Ensure all client deliverables are accurate, complete, and compliant with firm standards.
QualificationsRequiredNew Jersey Life & Health Insurance License
FINRA Series 6 License
FINRA Series 63 License
3+ years of financial planning or wealth management experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Commitment to continuing professional development
PreferredPrior experience supporting Financial Advisors or Wealth Management Advisors
FINRA Series 7 License
Experience with Morningstar, NetX360, CRM systems, or financial planning software
CompensationCompetitive salary based on experience, $100,000 - $150,000
3-6+ years of relevant experience considered
