Mid-Level Associate In Financial Services LitigationSalary range: $250K - $280KLocation: New York, NY Visa Sponsorship Details: Not open to any visas (e.g. US citizen, Green Card holders) Hybrid work policy: Hybrid — 3 days per week in the Fox Rothschild New York officeAbout this roleWhat we're looking for:We need a mid-level associate with 5-7 years of litigation experience and a demonstrated focus on financial services litigation who can hit the ground running supporting two named partners in our New York office. You should have hands-on experience representing financial services participants — broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, financial advisors, and similar clients — in litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters. An active New York bar license in good standing is required.What you'll do:Manage all phases of complex commercial and financial services litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial prep and appealsDraft and argue motions, briefs, and memoranda in federal and state courts as well as arbitration proceedingsConduct and defend depositions in high-stakes financial services disputesOversee document review and e-discovery in large-scale matters involving financial institutions and regulated entitiesAdvise financial institution clients on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and regulatory exposure across areas including SEC, FINRA, CFPB, and OCC mattersCollaborate directly with partners on case strategy, client relationships, and business developmentPerform legal research on complex regulatory and common-law issues spanning consumer finance litigation (FCRA, FDCPA, TILA, RESPA, TCPA, EFTA), regulatory enforcement defense, broker-dealer disputes, and fintech/digital assets
