Position Overview
Farmers Insurance District 11 is seeking a motivated, relationship-focused Financial Services Agent to join our Wheaton, Illinois office. This position offers a hybrid work environment and is ideal for someone who enjoys helping individuals, families, and business owners better understand their financial needs and available protection strategies.
The Financial Services Agent will work alongside Farmers Insurance agency professionals to identify client needs, develop relationships, educate customers on available financial solutions, and help agencies expand their financial services business.
This is an opportunity to build a career in financial services while working with an established insurance organization, an experienced district team, and a network of local Farmers agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their financial goals and protection needs.
Partner with Farmers Insurance Agency Owners and their teams to identify financial services opportunities within their client base.
Conduct client conversations and needs-based reviews.
Educate clients on appropriate financial and insurance solutions based on their individual circumstances.
Assist with life insurance, retirement, wealth accumulation, and other financial protection conversations based on applicable licensing and appointments.
Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective clients and follow-up opportunities.
Develop referral relationships with individuals, families, business owners, and community professionals.
Participate in district training, sales development, financial services workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Maintain accurate client records and follow all company, regulatory, compliance, and licensing requirements.
Provide a professional, educational, and client-focused experience throughout the sales and service process.

Previous experience in financial services, banking, insurance, investments, sales, or relationship management is helpful but not necessarily required for the right candidate.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid — combination of in-office, remote, and client-facing work
