nJob Purpose
nThe SCIT Financial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Supply
nChain Inbound Transportation (SCIT) Department. This role provides leadership and support for
ntransportation financial management, cost analysis, budgeting, invoice auditing, carrier spend
nreporting, and data-driven decision making.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities
nProvide day-to-day supervision and leadership for SCIT financial operations.
nOversee transportation-related financial reporting and analysis.
nReview, audit, and validate carrier invoices.
nMonitor department spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
nPrepare transportation cost reports and KPIs.
nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
nLead transportation cost reduction initiatives.
nPartner with Operations, Dispatch, Customer Service, and Accounting teams.
nCoach and develop assigned personnel.
