Finish SupervisorBig Tex Madill - Madill, OK 73446Salary Range $23.00 - $27.75 Position Type Full Time Job Shift DayJob ResponsibilitiesEnforces safety rules and reports all accidents to safety departmentEnforces all company standards and complies with company proceduresEnsures that all team members are trained to effectively perform their job duties safelyParticipates in root-cause analysis and corrective-action processes to enhance safety, quality, and manufacturing processesProvides leadership and direction with emphasis on teambuilding through daily meetingsEngages in teambuilding activities and fosters an encouraging atmosphereEmbraces and educates employees on continuous-improvement cultureWorks side-by-side with new employees on training and developmentParticipates in continuous-improvement activitiesEnsures all 5S and housekeeping requirements are being followedUpdates QSDC and hour-by-hour chartsDevelops an efficient team which executes production requirementsMaintains awareness of team member productivity and provides counseling as necessaryConducts succession planning to identify and train back-up team membersApplies tool and leadership knowledge to improve business metricsCoordinates with material handlers for parts and toolingReports to management team during GEMBA walk timeWorks with QC inspectors regarding quality concernsCoordinates with maintenance concerning inoperable equipmentPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsDemonstrated effective leadership capabilityHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBe able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment1-2 years minimum of operations, process improvement or training experienceMust have excellent organization skills, communication skills, and computer proficiency
