Quality Inspector / Finishing OperatorWhat we are looking for: The Quality Inspector / Finishing Operator sets up and operates equipment to manufacture and produce textile materials for medical or industrial clients, including scouring, heat setting and calendering. 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pmWhat you will do:Manufactures various broad fabrics according to standard operating procedures and work instructions.Follows applicable work instructions to scour, heat set and calender broad textile products, including, but not limited to, setup and shut down of equipment, batching and threading of products, utilizing DI System for scouring and safe handling procedures.Identifies defects – performs visual inspection during processing.Records qualitative and quantitative measurements.Enters information and uses ERP system to report quantities and time spent on jobsLabels and packages product as per customer specificationsMaintains clean equipment and surrounding areaPerforms and records Finishing equipment PM's including broad textile Inspection equipmentFollows procedure for reworking productsPerform tasks in accordance with applicable Work Instructions (WI), Visual Inspection Criteria, SOP's, and internal specificationsCompletes all associated paperwork & ERP tasks as requiredWho you are:High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 0–1-year related experience. Must be able to read/comprehend Quality Manual and Standard Operating Procedures, as well as protocols, and other established procedures. Basic understanding of GMP and working within regulated industries. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and management. Strong attention to detail.
