Job description
Finishing OperatorOur client, manufacturing industry is seeking a Finishing Operator to join their team. As a Finishing Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Crawfordsville, INPay Range: $16Shift: 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday through FridayWhat's the Job?Read instruction paperwork such as process sheets and spec sheets to ensure proper setup and materialsOperate all machines in the department efficiently and safelyFill out paperwork accurately, record information and counts, and perform hand assembly operationsCheck products for quality and proper packing, and pull samples as requiredAssist in training new employees and follow all safety and plant rulesWhat's Needed?High school diploma or equivalent skills and abilities demonstrated through experienceBasic math skills and ability to read and understand process directionsAbility to read a tape measure and operate machinery to meet production ratesSufficient strength to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 poundsUse of hand trucks to move materials safely and efficientlyWhat's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environmentGain hands-on experience with production machineryBe part of a team committed to safety and qualityPotential for ongoing training and developmentSupportive work environment focused on employee growthUpon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
