Job description
Finishing OperatorThe role of the finishing operator is to ensure the packaging, labeling, and finished product are correct per our customer requirements in our work instructions as the operator performs the functions of packing, glove pull, and basket return.Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe finishing operator performs the following tasks:Rotates regularly to perform the basket return, hand packing of gloves, and glove pull-off former tasks.QualificationsAble to stand on floor performing tasks for a 12-hour period. Able to perform manual hand packing of gloves at rate. Able to pay attention to detail.Working ConditionsWork Hours: Position operates in 12-hour shifts. Overtime: compensated according to labor laws. Breaks: 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute rest breaks per shift.Safety Standards: Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including helmets, gloves, and safety goggles. Regular safety drills, including fire and emergency evacuation procedures. Clearly marked emergency exits and first aid stations.Work Environment: The role may require standing for extended periods, walking around the facility, squatting, and occasionally lifting or moving heavy objects. Well-ventilated and adequately lit workspaces. Working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse can involve exposure to extreme temperatures. Designated smoking areas outside of the facility.Training and Development: Comprehensive onboarding training for all new employees, covering safety, operational procedures, and equipment use.
