Trojan values the integrity of our business relations, the quality of our deep-cycle technology, reliability of our products and services, as well as the professional growth of our team members.About the Role Trojan Battery Company is looking for a Finishing Operator (3rd shift) with a passion for quality excellence and commitment to product accuracy. You will work to ensure that the batteries we are providing for our clients are consistently being filled with the correct chemicals and washed and ready for transportation. You will work to stack, organize and wash all batteries and wrap them for shipping. The Finishing Operator will be committed to performing the role safely and have the ability to wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). If you're ready to find what moves you, Trojan Battery Company is the team to join.Shifts1st Shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMThe Day-to-DayCorrectly file all possible corrective arc issues using proper tools.Proper disposition of defective batteries to MRB.Operate Hydrometer during disposition testing.Stack batteries on pallet in configuration according to work order.Operate Wrapping machine and identify malfunctions with the equipment.Identify arc marks, banding and other defects on batteries, pull from conveyor and sent to repair.Operator battery washing machine; check PH levels, replenish chemicals as needed.Conduct HRD testing.Determine which product parts and raw materials to use for various processes and packaging meets quality requirements and standards.Assist in set up of automatic equipment.Assist in the performance of PM on all equipment.Understanding and complete all required QA reports.Must be clean shavenAll employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on site.You must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma, GED, or greater required.0-6 months manufacturing/plant experience.Forklift certificationBasic English proficiency to interpret work and apply safety instructions.Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).Perks and BenefitsA variety of Medical, Dental, and Vision PlansSection 123 Cafeteria Plan401(k)/401k RothDisability Income – specific locations and/or classificationGroup Legal ServicesCorporate 529 College Savings PlanTuition ReimbursementCredit Union MembershipA variety of Employee DiscountsEmployee Wellness ProgramsIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
