Formation Operator will perform visual inspections for proper acid levels and cosmetic defects.Areas of FocusThe Finishing Operator will be committed to performing the role safely and can wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including a respirator.Responsibilities Level IOn/Off Bear batteries from production lineUnderstand and practice the Quality policyUse hand tools and learn specific machine controls, gauges, etc.Work in a lead acid battery manufacturing plantCapable of working in extreme temperatures and heavy environment is a plusStrong team skillsSolve problems and recommend solutionsAll employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on siteLift 50-80 lbs. and stand for long periods of timeRemove caps and perform visual check to ensure that batteries are facing correctly when transmitting through the conveyorCorrectly apply proper vent caps, ensuring a tight seal, and apply labels to batteriesBasic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or greater2-3 years' manufacturing/plant experience with a strong and consistent work historyBasic English proficiency to interpret work and apply safety instructionsBasic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)Must be clean shavenIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
