Job description

Fire Alarm InspectorConvergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven Fire Alarm Inspector to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will assist with the testing and inspection of fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings. You will help to identify and report any problems or deficiencies found in the systems you inspect. This is a customer-facing role, one that is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects. Every colleague is encouraged to participate in our Recruit Awesome People program, helping us grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent to the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers.Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.Monitor the fire-alarm panel.Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during, and following completion of the testing process.Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.Initiative – engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities.Adaptability – responds effectively to changes in situation or information.Commitment – engages with colleagues and customers to ensure successful testing operations and complete customer satisfaction.A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Convergint fosters a supportive, accessible, and inclusive environment in which all individuals are able to realize their maximum potential within the company.
