Fire And Emergency Services TechnicianTesla has an outstanding opportunity available for a Fire And Emergency Services Technician. During the assigned shift, the Fire & Emergency Services Technician is responsible for responding to fire, medical, technical rescue, and hazardous material related emergencies. The Fire & Emergency Services Technician will support assigned site daily operations, public education and safety training and support cross functional teams as required.ResponsibilitiesRespond to emergencies at Tesla properties and effectively minimize losses through fire prevention, fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazardous materials mitigation, technical rescue standby's/responses and any other emergency situations that occurProvide basic/advanced life support during medical emergencies associated with trauma, chemical exposure, or medical emergenciesCollaborate with On Site Medical (OSM) team to ensure the best possible patient care and outcome, support On Site Medical staff augmentation as requiredSupport stakeholders with emergency action plans, emergency drills, and emergency communicationProvide detailed verbal, written, and computer reports pertaining to condition and care of patients and incident reports as requiredSupport fire and life safety inspections. Support EHS Specialists with safety concerns and assist with coordination of safety supplies (first aid kits, eyewash stations, etc.)Safely and efficiently operates emergency response and powered industrial vehiclesRequirementsRequired - Firefighter 1( IFSAC/ProBoard or CSFM), Hazardous Materials Operations and California EMT-B.
