Job PostingThe City of Golden Valley is accepting applications to fill a single vacant position in our Fire Department. This position will be filled with either a Fire Inspector I or a Fire Inspector II, depending on the experience and qualifications of the selected applicant.Fire Inspector I Position Overview: This position administers and enforces adopted state and city codes within the City of Golden Valley under the supervision of the Assistant Chief of Prevention. Individuals in this position will also assume Firefighter responsibilities while on duty.Fire Inspector II Position Overview: This position is responsible for administration and enforcement of adopted state and city codes within the City of Golden Valley and leads fire investigations under the supervision of the Assistant Chief of Prevention. Fire Inspector II may provide work directions to Paid on-Call Firefighters assisting with inspections and on the fire grounds.Learn more and apply.
