Job description
DutiesInspects high-risk areas, industrial facilities, and aviation sites.Identifies hazards, devises correction actions, and maintains inspection recordsApplies National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Fire Codes (NFC), and Army regulations.Develops and presents fire safety classes post-wide, tailoring instruction to the age and interests of participants.Reviews architectural drawings and specifications for code compliance.Tests fire suppression, detection, notification systems, and water distribution flows.Responds to emergency calls as part of a firefighting team, performing fire suppression, fire investigations, and hazardous materials abatement.
