Creating a healthy work-life balance and ensuring everyone makes it home safely is our top priority.Benefits We Offer:Comprehensive Insurance coverage - Health, Dental, Vision and More401(k) Plan – Matching %Employee Stock Purchase PlanProfit Sharing PlanFlex Spending (FSA) and HSAWellness ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramIndividual Development Plan (IDP) – Define your career goals and create a plan that make the goals attainableGrowth opportunities through company sponsored leadership development courses and trainingsPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysParental Leave, Paid Pregnancy Medical LeaveTuition ReimbursementAnnual Discretionary BonusesEmployer Paid Life InsuranceFire Protection Inspector PositionA Fire Protection Inspector is responsible for performing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and fire sprinklers in both residential and commercial spaces.Although not required, it is beneficial for the successful candidate to be licensed as a fire sprinkler inspector, fire alarm inspector, and a fire extinguisher inspector.Job ResponsibilitiesPerformance of daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual inspections and preventative maintenance services on various sized fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and fire sprinkler systems.Repair, replace, fill, and tag all fire extinguishers.Service and test all systems.Complete electronic and/or handwritten inspection reports.Document time worked as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner.Assist in the scheduling and completion of assigned duties.Ability to work independently and use provided personal protective equipment.Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Two years of experience in the fire protection industry preferred.Understand NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and building and fire codes.Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.Valid driver's license; in accordance with company policy required.Able to pass a post-offer drug test and background check.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodationRegular bending, reaching, climbing, and walkingAmerican Fire Protection Group is an equal opportunity employer.
