Responsibilities Execute the installation of advanced fire alarm systems, ensuring all electrical wiring and hardware meet stringent NFPA safety standards.
Program and calibrate control panels to optimize system responsiveness and reliability.
Conduct comprehensive system inspections to verify functionality and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and emergency repairs to minimize downtime for critical life safety equipment.
Maintain precise documentation of all service activities to provide clear, actionable reports for clients and management.
Deliver exceptional technical support, acting as a trusted advisor to clients regarding their fire protection needs.
Qualifications Required Skills
Proven hands-on experience in the fire alarm industry, specifically regarding installation and inspection workflows.
Deep understanding of NFPA codes and industry-standard safety regulations.
Strong technical aptitude for troubleshooting complex electrical and low-voltage systems.
Valid driver’s license and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
Preferred Skills
Active NICET certification or equivalent professional credentials.
Experience with diverse fire alarm manufacturer platforms and programming software.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple service calls independently in a field-based environment.
