Job description
Fire Pump TechnicianLocation: Pasadena, TXDuration: Full-timeHourly: $22-28/hrDay-to-Day:Primary: Perform fire pump testing and inspections per pre-set customer schedules.Secondary: Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and minor repairs on fire pump engines/drivers, small motors, and water pumps.Escalation: Major overhauls (e.g., replacing full pump assemblies or pump controllers) are handed off to internal mechanics or outsourced to third-party vendors.Must-Haves:Petrochemical / Industrial Experience: Strictly required. Pass on candidates with only commercial background.Mechanical Competency: Must be physically fit for duty and comfortable working inside industrial pump houses.Travel Willingness: Full schedule flexibility for 35% regional out-of-town travel.Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, or refinery environments.This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client.
