Training involves participation in duties of protecting life and property through the performance of firefighting and rescue activities. Until the completed application and all required documents are accepted by the Human Resources Department, you are not considered an applicant and will not be given consideration for the position in the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department. Step 1: Application and Required Documentation (all listed documents must be attached to your application or it will considered 'incomplete') The following documents are required for consideration for the Fire Recruit position:High School Diploma or GED (transcripts or college degrees will not sub for the high school diploma)Birth CertificateDD-214 (if prior military)Valid Georgia driver's license (a provisional/instructional driver's license nor ID is accepted).
