About the Role:
nDiamondback Fire Protection LLC is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team. If you have 3+ years of experience in fire protection design and hold a NICET Level 2 or higher certification (preferred), we want to hear from you. This is a primarily remote role with occasional travel requirements to meet project needs.
nKey Responsibilities:
nDesign fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects using AutoSPRINK or similar design software
nPerform hydraulic calculations in accordance with NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards
nCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely drawing submittals
nPrepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and design documentation for AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) approval
nEnsure all designs comply with local codes, NFPA standards, and client specifications
nRevise and update drawings based on field conditions, change orders, or inspector feedback
nProvide technical support during the installation process
nQualifications:
nProficient with design software (e.g. AutoSprink, AutoCAD, and Revit)
nKnowledge of NFPA standards and local building codes
nStrong communication and collaboration skills
nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously
nMinimum NICET Level 2 certification (preferred)
