Fire Sprinkler Designer / EstimatorNow HiringWe're partnering with a well-established and growing fire protection contractor seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer / Estimator. This is a high-impact role for someone who can both design systems and accurately estimate projects from bid through execution — a strong opportunity with long-term stability and growth for someone who enjoys being involved from concept to completion.Position OverviewThe Designer / Estimator will prepare detailed sprinkler system layouts and produce accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects. This person will work closely with project managers, field teams, GCs, and AHJs to ensure projects are code-compliant, profitable, and executed efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 13, 13R, and 13DPerform hydraulic calculationsComplete material take-offs and labor estimatesPrepare detailed proposals and bid packagesReview blueprints, specifications, and addendumsCoordinate with vendors and subcontractorsAssist project managers throughout the project lifecycleAttend pre-bid and coordination meetings as neededQualifications3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design and/or estimatingProficiency in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, or SprinkCADStrong understanding of NFPA standards and local codesAbility to read and interpret construction drawingsNIET certificationStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryPerformance-based bonusesFull benefits package401(k) with company matchPTO + paid holidaysStable company with strong backlog and growth opportunitiesThe fire protection industry continues to expand, and companies are aggressively hiring strong designer/estimators who can drive both accuracy and profitability.
