We're looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our Salt Lake City team.Why Join State Fire?Competitive pay based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance options401(k) with company match$50K company-paid life insurancePaid time off + holidaysCareer growth in a rapidly expanding, multi-state companyWhat You'll DoService wet, dry, and antifreeze systemsInspect sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, alarms, and related componentsTroubleshoot systems and repair or replace faulty partsTest water flow, pressure, and alarms to ensure system readinessPerform preventive maintenance and code compliance checksTravel within the region; occasional overnightsRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForRequired: 3+ years in fire sprinkler/life safety trades, valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass background and drug screeningPreferred: Utah Level I & II licenses, backflow knowledge, MSHA certificationKnowledge of fire/building codes, OSHA requirements, and fire sprinkler systemsBasic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in EnglishWillingness to work flexible hours and on-call when neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 70 lbs without assistanceComfortable with climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working in tight spacesCapable of standing, kneeling, crouching, or stooping for extended periodsAble to work indoors and outdoors in various conditionsAbout State FireFrom a three-person start to over 300 licensed professionals, State Fire serves customers across Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Texas, Colorado, and more.
